Grace and Mother

My friend posted about grace on her blog called "Quivering Daughters" and it blesses me every time I read her blog because of the grace that is on her and the site when I read it. My favorite pastor once said~"Grace is something we don't deserve and mercy keeps us from getting what we do deserve." There is a link to his message on her site and it's a worthy and powerful message to hear for sure.

The closest thing to Jesus and His grace that I've ever known was my mother. She was the most loving and forgiving person and always taught me to forgive others. Many people considered mom to be too merciful and would try to correct her on all that kindness she would show to those the most undeserving of it. It seems to me that Jesus lived very strong in her, yet she did not bible thump or even attend church regularly.  Her motto was the golden rule and ten commandments for all and to show grace cause we all have been shown God's grace. Wow, how much of an impact she left on me and how much I am repelled by anything not liked mom or grace or~~grace or mom? The two go together either way, which brings me to that going home feeling of being close to Jesus. He is grace and no one loves us like Jesus~not even mom and that is too hard for me to even comprehend.
